Purpose
The purpose of this statement is to explain how we deal with Personal Information.

Personal Information is any information about an identified individual or information by which an individual can be reasonably identified. This includes, but is not limited to, details about an individual including their name, address, unit entitlement, marital status, taxation information, income, email address and bank accounts.
Why do we collect Personal information?
We only collect Personal Information that is reasonably necessary for the purpose of carrying out our management responsibilities. This includes such things as:
- Maintaining a register of owners.
- Issuing meeting and levy notices.
- Preparation and distribution of minutes of meetings.
- Organising contractors to undertake repairs and maintenance.
- Arranging insurance and dealing with insurance claims.
Why do we collect Personal information?
Parties to whom we may share and disclose Personal Information for the purpose of providing management services include:
- Service providers – specialist tradesmen, builders, engineers and plumbers.
- Professional advisors – architects, engineers, lawyers and accountants.
- Insurance companies.
- Other contractors that assist us in providing management services.
How do we collect Personal Information?
Personal Information is either directly obtained from our clients or as a direct consequence of our relationship with the Owners Corporation. This latter source includes Personal Information from parties such as:
- Insurance companies, where a claim has been made.
- Solicitors, where you are purchasing or selling a unit.
Maintaining Personal Information
It is necessary that Personal Information provided to us is at all times complete, accurate and up to date. From time to time we may ask to advise of any changes to the Personal Information we hold.
Security of Personal Information
We take reasonable precautions to safeguard Personal Information from loss, interference, misuse, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.
Personal Information – Online Access to our Site
Information via email is generally not a secure way of communication. We ask our clients to be aware of this when sending information to us via this method.
Access to Personal Information we may hold
Clients may request access to Personal information we hold about them. A summary of Personal Information including name, address and contact details are available for free. More detailed request may incur a fee to cover the cost of retrieval and supply. We may refuse to provide Personal Information where the information is mixed with other information that would disclose Personal Information or Sensitive Information about another person.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive Information includes information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, memberships of political associations, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional trade or association, membership of a trade union, sexual preferences or practices, criminal records and health records. We do not collect Sensitive Information without an individual’s consent, other than is permitted by the Privacy Law, and/or any other law.
Website Privacy
Access to our website can be obtained without the need to provide Personal Information. Personal Information collected via our website is with the prior knowledge of the individual when an enquiry or application is made online.
Personal Information Identifiers
We do not use Commonwealth Identifiers such as Tax File Numbers (TFN) or Medicare numbers.
